Re: Pellet gril

There is another option as well. The Masterbuilt gravity feed charcoal grill/smoker: https://www.acehardware.com/departments/outdoor-living/grills-and-smokers/charcoal-grills/8038179?x429=true&gclid=fa3002c5dbb211db689e62fcf00d03e4&gclsrc=3p.ds&msclkid=fa3002c5dbb211db689e62fcf00d03e4&am...

Re: Jerk Chicken

PLUS my Habaneros are hotter than Scotch Bonnets. Jamaicans don't like to admit it, but they don't have the lock on hot... Not all peppers are made equal. For instance, just look at jalapeno's... I have had some seriously angry jalapeno's and some that were more like bell peppers. Huge difference!

Re: Pit Boss

Hey Boss... welcome to the forums. We're just hanging out doing what we do. I need to chat you up a bit. The GF and I are also moving to the coastal outreaches of NC. Who knows, we could be within spittin' distance of one another but then again the NC coastline is over 3,300 miles long. :...

Re: CSR's on the MUDS

Finished cooking early and sitting in foil until we are ready to eat: https://i.postimg.cc/FsdK82v0/20210213-172124.jpg I have not done CSR's in a while now and they cooked faster than I would have thought. they were done more than 30 minutes ago, but I left them on and choked down the fire. It was ...

CSR's on the MUDS

Sale on CSR's, so I grabbed a pack that was just under 6lbs. I am cooking about 2.5lbs of them today on my Mini UDS (or home-made Weber Smokey Mountain mini). It is windy today, so I have it sheltered as much as possible with the house and the fence. Just put the meat on (temp needs to recover), rub...

Re: Superbowl cook

I don't think you can ever go wrong with chicken wings during a ball game. 🍗🐔🍗 Sorry to hear about the MIL. Sounds quite painful. Hopefully they got her comfortable and on the road to recovery. She is now recovering in a rehab unit. She was in memory care already and the recovery area is run by the...

Superbowl cook

Went to my buddy's house for Superbowl (we normally have a big party, but with Covid, we just had our 2 families). Used his gas grill to do some wings with apple wood chips in a foil packet. I did the recipe I normally do with salt, pepper and baking powder and then sauce at the end. They were fanta...
