Yeah I put some coal in there at the start. I didn't add to it as the cook when on in time.

First cook on refurbished smoker
Made some pulled pork. I've not run this smoker by myself. It was my father's... he'd work it like a magician. anyhoo... I made some pulled pork. My wife is Japanese so she doesn't like really strong flavors. So it was mild flavored. Turned out really good. https://i.imgur.com/c3emAwY.jpg https://i....

Re: Oklahoma Joe Offset Smoker
Looks like my Longhorn, based on the size. You should be able to get parts from them, particularly the wheels. Then add some sealing of the doors from BBQ Smoker Mods: https://bbqsmokermods.com/lavalockr-self-stick-oklahoma-joe-longhorn-highland-complete-gasket-latch-mod-kit.html Some high-temp pai...

Re: Oklahoma Joe Offset Smoker
Your cooker definitely looks like it has some miles left on it once you get the leg situation straightened out on it. I have a New Braunfels that looks identical except the FB is on the other side of the cook chamber. I went through several mods on that one to get her running smoothly. If you're in...

Oklahoma Joe Offset Smoker
I was going to buy an offset smoker since I've moved and had to leave my old one behind. My dad said to just come to the house and get his Oklahoma Joe as he never uses anymore. He had taken off the wheels that came with it and put some ridiculous harbor freight wheels (that were flat) on it. I coul...

Re: Baozi - Chinese Steamed Pork Buns
Please do check with her about it. I'm not sure the authentic of it. My wife is Japanese so I don't know if it's real or Americanize version. I love Chinese food and dim sum in particular. These were really tasty and I'll make it again for sure. She was familiar with them and said she was never goo...

Re: Baozi - Chinese Steamed Pork Buns
I'll have to ask my GF about this. They look pretty tasty. She was the owner / operator of a Chinese restaurant up in Maine a few years ago. Please do check with her about it. I'm not sure the authentic of it. My wife is Japanese so I don't know if it's real or Americanize version. I love Chinese f...

Blueberry Scones
Not sure where to put these. If you think this belongs in another area please move mod team. Description These better-than-the-bakery blueberry scones are bursting with juicy blueberries. They’re buttery and moist with crisp crumbly edges and soft flaky centers. Read through the recipe before beginn...
